For those who have removed the swingie, what's the trick or special tool to getting that damn end plate off that is next to the yoke. I can get to the top one with a small allen, unfortunately it does not want to come out and I don't want to strip the head.
But the bottom one, I can't even get to, no matter how I reposition the yoke. wtf? Can I leave the end plate and not remove it?

Are you talking about just pulling the swing arm axle from the frame ? You leave in the nut and end plate installed in the frame... Ive pulled out several, if I misunderstood you let me know and I will try and help...

got it Jax, it was the little end plate on the frame fastened with 2 allen bolts next to the yoke/rubber boot. I left it on and removed the shaft and swingarm like that. I had quite a bit of grease in there. I had a feeling i was wasting my time from the start. Mine is white after all. no biggie. while i had it all apart I cleaned and re-lubed everything that was and everything that wasn't there to lube anyway ::003::
