I noticed Swagger hasn't been on in a while. He mentioned previously that he was on the verge of being deployed, he didn't say when or where so I figured that's what had gone down.

I sent him a quick email and he got back to me after a few days. Said he's off saving the world (my words) from the forces of evil (again, my words). He mentioned something else about the "world's gone nuts" (pffffft, who does this guy think he is, Nostradamus? I mean, no kidding. Jeez :D) and that he couldn't get to the site from where he is. Luckily Chad is around to render the smackdown in Swagger's absence. ;)

His parting thought was for me to say "hi to the guys" for him. So if anybody wants to say "hi" back I'm sure he'll be back around sooner or later to get the message.

As my old recon team always said, "Scouts Out". Good hunting, keep your head down, come home safe.

Swagger, thank you for your service. Not sure what branch you are in but I would suggest telling the military to dump the worked over KLRs and switch to the Super Tenere! ;D

In all seriousness, BE SAFE!

Hey guy, stay safe and get back home real soon! My deepest respect and admiration for the service the folks in the military provide in keeping us all safe.

Thanks to Swagger and all who are currently servicing, or have done so in the past. I know that is a lot of you (many of use did 4 or 6 years, you know, just for the heck of it) so thanks everyone. Would give everyone a little different perspective, or perhaps make them a little more worldly, if the U.S., like most other countries, required a year or three years of service out of every citizen as they come of age.

I can't replace "The Swag" while he's gone, but I can carry the Judge Dread "lawgiver" gun here is our little Mega-city; police, judge, jury and executioner.

Couldn't agree more...but I'm biased: retired Navy here.

That said: be safe and God bless, Swagger!
