Any guidance on how I remove the mirrors to install the mirror extenders. Does anyone have a photo of them correctly installed. It’s a 2019 S10 if that makes any difference.
Thanks in advance
Nick

I didn't use SWMotech, but Lucky Bike ones, but they are similar. Edit to correct - The Left mirror is left hand thread, so clockwise to loosen. Think of it as the wind pushing the mirror would tighten, not loosen the mirror bolt. From the Lucky Bike web site:

Most motorcycles have both mirrors that are Standard, Right-Hand Threaded (RH, clockwise). There are a few motorcycles that have one mirror that is Reversed, Left-Hand Threaded (LH, Counter-clockwise) and one mirror that is Standard, Right-Hand Threaded (RH, clockwise). Please verify your thread pattern and bolt size before purchasing or installing this product. (We find that Yamaha Motorcycles usually use one LH Threaded Riser and one RH Threaded Riser)

1. Simply unscrew your current mirror and mount the mirror on the risers or extenders threaded hole.
2. Use the included bolt/washer to mount the Mirror and Riser to the bike.
3. Make your final adjustments; tighten the Riser and Mirror without over-torquing.
4. Now your ready to ride and experience the ability to see behind you.

I dug up the info/links that EricV sent me

The mirror extensions are from Lucky Bike. You need one left hand thread and one right hand thread for the Super Ten. I had the same problem with just seeing the shoulders and these really do the job. And a fair price too, not over priced. This is my second pair, I had them on my '12 S10 too for over 100k. Now rocking my '15.

https://luckybike.com/ They call them Mirrror Risers.

Link to the item. You need to select color and 10mm right hand threads, put that in your cart with Qty (1), then select color and Qty, with a Left Hand thread for the second one. $9.95 each.

https://luckybike.com/products/mirror-riser-10mm?variant=11344841343012

They might give the the pair for the $17.95 price if you ask. Doing them individually doesn't show up as a discount in the cart.

Ebay link for a pair for $12.05 that appears to be LH and RH pair. Read thru the description first if you order these.

You really need to work on your Google Fu Rob. LINK most of those from China are RH thread only and you need RH and LH thread for the Super Ten. Try searching for " 10mm Mirror Riser Extender Adapter Mount Right&Left-Hand Threaded "

What is the purpose of the mirror extenders on the Super Tenere? Adjusted properly, the OEM ones have no obstructions to rear vision at all. How far do the extenders go past the bar end? If more than a inch then that is a no go for lane filtering. My OEM bars barely clear by a few inches when rolling between vehicles in beach traffic or Los Angeles streets/freeways. How is the vibration with them installed?

Some people are wider/broader shouldered than others. Vibration isn't an issue. Neither is lane splitting. The mirrors are moved out about 1.5". I get a view of less shoulder and more road.

As Eric noted, wide shoulders matter. They definitely improved things for me on that front. The bigger reason (benefit) I found was a substantial decrease in wind buffeting. That's the primary reason I installed my extenders and probably had the single biggest effect after a different windscreen.

Here’s the link I got from @EricV.

Order one for the left and one for the right. Wide shoulders here and these helped significantly.
