Wondering if anyone here has tried to fit the SW-Motec / Bags Connection EVO Rearbag-Tailbag to the back of your S10?

Looks a bit big in photos, 17.7" wide side to side. I've been messing with the Slipstream tail bag, and City tank bag - good for daily use.

However, the expandable EVO might be nice for overnight stuff... Saw a few KTMs with them, but I've never seen a photo of the EVO rearbag on a Super Tenere yet.

Anyone?

I have a smaller soft case and been wanting to upgrade to a larger case. This looks good but it might not work with the OEM side cases.

Not sure what side cases you have. I have the OEM side cases and the mounting brackets measure 16.25" to the outside. 7.5" from the rear of the back of the mounting bracket to the back of the stock rack.

I have an Altrider rear rack but it is not installed.

Hi Tim,

No side bags yet. Tried this setup yesterday with the Siipstream bag to go along with the BC City Tank bag. Works great for day trips, like it. Now that I've used it the Slipstream bag, I'm keeping it and going to buy/use a separate Drybag on the rear rack for overnight trips. I do like the ease of quick access of the Slipstream for quick stops for clothing/glove switches, etc. Also, it's easy to kick a leg over as it does not sit too high. Will probably buy something like the Bags Connection 35L dry bag, and just set it sideways on the rear rack area. As for bags, I'll probably just pick up some small cloth bags like the Bags Connection Blaze I can just add/remove for trips down the road. For now, I think I can get away with the tank / tail / rear dry bag combo for overnight trips. When I take a longer trip, I'll add side bags later...

I may find a nice wide plate for the rear rack ??? and use that just for clamping down my overnight bag.
