Hope they are nicely functional because they do not appear to contribute much to the over all appearance of the STeed.

Maybe they're for when it dies and becomes a Tenere Angel. R

Agree about the looks. But for lots of commuting and riding in the rain, they look like absolute winners!

Sure, but who wants to limit their riding to only rainy days? I came from the king of ugly...the Strom, those are Strom worthy.

Hi,
I have the OEM deflectors and can say I was very impressed with the reduction in side to side buffeting. These look like the OEM's on steroids. Coming from a GL1800 they kinda look good :)

I went with the Cee Baileys headlight guard over the OEM. I really like it as it is flush with the headlight cover and doesn't change the bikes lines. I have used the CB headlight protectors on other bikes and they do a great job without overkill. Didn't care for the Cee Baileys wings so went for the OEM wind deflectors. They work great at reducing buffeting and generally rerouting the air around me!

Judging by the pix, they seem pretty big. I wonder if you end up with wingtip vortex issues?? ::025:: ::025::

Great, I just ordered the wings today. Once I get them I'll post pictures and at least Cee Baileys has a 30 exchange policy. So If i dont approve, then I'll get the head lamp guard.
IMO I think they look B/A

Yea, you probably shouldn't follow too close to a Tenere running those, particularly a heavily loaded one. The vortex might knock you right over, definitely rattle your helmet. Might need to stay a half mile back to be safe. ::014:: ::014::
