Super Tenere VIN Information

I purchased my Super Tenere at D&H Cycle in Cullman, Alabama on November 29th. The service tech stated they received the bike from another dealer. When licensing the bike I noticed the VIN included the letters CA. Does this mean the bike is equipped with California spec emission system?

I think you have a 49 state version.

The 8th letter is the difference in the 49 States and California VIN's.

Plus the model number is different. California is 'BC'. The others are BB and BL.
