We have had a really rainy weekend and I was pretty excited to get out to the country!
My goal was to ride 250 miles in order to get enough miles on the Super Tenere to allow me do its first motor oil and shaft drive oil change.
Rain was falling at my 7:00 am starting time, so I delayed until 9:00 when the skies had mostly cleared.
It was refreshingly cool for the first couple of hours, and my Frogg Togg upper was a great wind break over my perforated leather suit.
I had several tracks loaded on my GPS, going North - so all I had to do was follow my nose north, and then go East or West.
I ended up going to Lampasas, San Saba, Llano and back to Austin. It was an incredibly colorful ride!
The short bit of dirt I found was no problem for the ST, and it was dust free too!
