OK, known good battery & fault extant.

Diag mode - check codes again. I would be interested to know the TPS readings full close to full open throttle at D:13 D:14 & D:15 to see if they are within range.

Just a thought - Could this be the side stand &/or clutch switch playing up, given that it won't restart with the clutch pulled in, so presumably you are switching off, selecting neutral & re-starting.

Simple enough to bypass both & trick the system temporarily.

I will look at the codes again. The clutch and side stand switch are good as the motor will crank but will not start without turning the key off and then back on, like restarting the computer. When the engine dies I get the flashing ABS light and the check engine light.

I wonder if there’s a short somewhere in the CC circuit switch wiring?

If there is, it would have had to have been caused/instigated by the new/replacement battery. Or something got crossed/shorted in the process. 'Cuz, the way I read it, is that this didn't start until after the replacement.

I am with Sierras line of. thinking here. I have had some funky stuff go on around Li batteries. The latest was this weekend when a friends Harley would kick on and off. Replaced Li battery with lead acid and the problem went away. Li battery acted like it was grounding out the system. Very strange

I am not sure if it just started as a friend of mine had been using it for about 1500 miles before I got it back.

Did you check the wiring from the CC? My friend's S10 had a wire fray right at the plastic CC housing. Would short intermittently.

OK it is time for an update on this problem. I keep reading the posts about thinking it would be the battery, so I ordered a Scorpion YTZ14S AGM battery for my ST. It arrived and I replaced it after pulling out the Antigravity battery after three days with no battery in the bike. I went for a ride on it with the new battery for just over 100 miles mostly highway so I could use the cruise control. The bike never kicked off the cruise control and the engine never died. So I came home scratching my head as how could this have been the problem. So two days later I reinstalled the Antigravity battery and went for a ride to see if this was a battery or a bike problem. I did about 120 miles with no problems kicking off the cruise control or no engine dying.

While out on the ride I got to thinking about this and remembered the only other thing that I had done to the bike other than new tires and a new battery was that I had washed the bike. So my thinking is that something got wet and that was causing the problem and not the battery.

So if someone needs a new Scorpion battery let me know as my Antigravity battery is working great and the bike is working great again.

So if you have some weird problem with your bike it may have been caused by washing it. I will stick to wiping my bike down in the future.

Thank you for all of the input on this matter.
