Ummm...excuse me for asking, but is there a point to this thread? Is there going to be a tally taken, or...something?

Not trying to bust on anyone, but I have to admit, I don't understand this thread (and yes, I did add my info a few pages ago).

::025:: It's like you don't really know me. I met my wife in Texas, took her for her first motorcycle ride in Texas, even got married in Texas. I've got no problem with Texas. Well, maybe that dead flat brown nothingness for mile after mile does wear on me a bit, but I do love the attitude in Texas and it looks better and better to me every day.

I'm just not sure where this thread is going. Generally a "count" ends up with some kind of result. But a bike count is fluid and not sure what we're doing here. Never mind me, it's the middle of winter, what do you expect?

"Dead flat brown nothingness" you have been to the wrong side of the state
The US Army gave me the opportunity to live at Ft Hood, in Central Texas for a couple of years. Driving between there and Dallas is where I got the term "dead flat brown nothingness." Coming from the hilly/small mountainous region of NY and the Northeast, that's just the way it looked to me. I did see more of the state. Really enjoyed the hill country around Austin. Very impressed with San Antonio area. But overall I didn't find the topography of Texas to be it's best selling feature. The warm weather, and more importantly the pride in Texas I saw in the people made a much bigger positive impression on me. The attitude Texans have today make it even more appealing than ever.

I'm not gonna deny that there are parts of Texas that from a driving point of view, are OMG when does this road end, boring.

I10 is just short of 1000 miles of straight.

dirt dad , when you moving to Texas? it doesn't matter where your from its the attitude that matters... we Texans love freedom , the constitution that frames it , and God the author of it.... oh don't forget your guns when you move down here , its the freedom that discourages those who would take your other freedoms.... ::009::

Honestly, I don't know why we just didn't ask people to update the database we started when we ordered the bikes. All the information is there.....and even if people no longer have their tenere that are on that list, we'll count them anyway >:D, just because they owned one.
