ok so my bike is a 2012 with 40,000 miles only modes are a power commander 5 and a yoshi slip on. For some reason each time i start it it has a different feel sometimes it runs ok sometimes good sometimes great this is my only transportation so i ride it at least 4 times a day. the problem is when its running ok the throttle response sucks when on the gas the bike just feels lazy and not very fun to ride and im feeling some engine vibration. when its running good it revs better with less vibration but throttle response is still lacking. But sometimes the bike just halls butt throttle response is great the back tire brakes loose with little effort when on gravel and it revs to red line easily with no vibration and im like wow the whole time riding. This first time i noticed it acting up was at 12,000 miles but if i first turn on the key then twist the throttle a couple times before i started it seemed to make it run better more than not but when it got around 30,000 miles it seemed to work less so i replaced the throttle position sensor and that seemed to work. i was happy with the bikes performance until it got 39,000 it started acting up again. replaced the tps again but didn't seem to fix my problem this time so wondering if anyone has run into this problem about to drive me crazy.

if you take the PCV outta the loop, does it then run consistent?

i been thinking about disconnecting the pc5 probably do that this weekend but it wasn't installed the first time it acted up. but i did notice when i replaced the second throttle position sensor after i got it adjusted to 9 using the diagnostic mode i twisted the throttle it only went up to 59 and then it just freezes on 20 when i put on the first tps it would go to 100 then back to 9 without ever freezing so maybe the pc5 is causing this.

Glad to hear you are narrowing it down.

A not uncommon source of water in the fuel are leaky seals at the gas cap, since rain water can collect where you stick your finger to get to the key.

Add 1/4 can of sea foam in the tank fill it up and ride or drain the tank.
You may want to replace the gas cap seal.
