I find most people who ask about my bike are not really interested. They are just looking for an excuse to tell you about what they used to ride or to talk about themselves.

As long as their intentions seem to be friendly I’m happy. Stopped at a Harley rally with my Goldwing many years ago and this lady that weighed about 300 pounds walks up and says get the Japan crap out of here, I didn’t say a word and just walked away thinking holy cow that lady has some serious issues.

Or tell you what you should be riding. I can't count the times that I've been told. . . . by people that don't ride, or haven't in a long time. . . . what bike I should have bought.

I am fortunate to not have any ailments. I don't remember much of a forward lean on the Honda. The T-12 has an upright seating position. That being said, there's plenty of guys here that have put risers on their Teneres. I liked the Honda. . . . I love the Yamaha.
