Aint that the truth. I must be the youngest guy on here at 36. Its tough finding the time to do big long distance rides. It’s like the Song. You spend alll your time making money or all your money making time.

I have 15 years on you, and I'm in the same boat - although some of that is down to job hopping.Aint that the truth. I must be the youngest guy on here at 36. Its tough finding the time to do big long distance rides.
A rally in NY I wouldn't need vacation time for.I have the perfect area right here in my backyard but no time to set anything up. My town, Wellsville NY is only 50 miles from the MABDR. Only 10 miles from the PA border. All the dirt roads you could ever ride (allegheny national forest, literally anything south of Wellsville into PA, full offroad, twisties)
If you want to test your offroad skills, my buddy has the largest privately owned offroad park on the east coast, Tall Pines (link below).

Tons of good local restaurants. Close to the Corning Museum Of Glass for the wives ( hour drive). Small shops galore. Hell if you stay at tall pines, my buddy is the mayor of Andover, they made it legal to ride atvs on the roads there if you brought your side by side too.
Just a thought for the east coast thing. Call my boss at Corning and let him know I need time off. No time to ride or set stuff up.
End of April might be ok.Need to touch base with the family and various calendars before committing.
Limey - How's later April sound for you Canookians?
That sounds great but Us on the east side of the divide can't get to the west side about 50% of the time in late Sep. or early Oct.for those who would like to do a west rally I have a suggestion . pick a date late September or early October , pick a place say Moab . and talk someone into leading the group say mak10 (only a suggestion , he would be great as he has done it and knows the area ) . it doesn't have to get complicated , and it is far enough away from a spring Arkansas rally ,those who can can do 2 rally events. mak10 organized a Moab thing ,there were 3 of us , it was not complicated . just thinking out loud this morning.
Unless is HAS to be called a "Tenere" get together, come to the Cache Rally....June 18-21 Flaming Gorge, Utah. Last year there were 4 S-10s in attendance...That sounds great but Us on the east side of the divide can't get to the west side about 50% of the time in late Sep. or early Oct.
Hence, why I ride solo most of the time.......Geography makes a perfect solution impossible
Health issues? Lemme know if I bring some chicken soup up or anything.Poll created, just some general areas. Due to some recent health issues, I may or may not be able to attend.
Yes, of course I want to. It will mostly come down to date.Dirt_Dad? (You know you want to )
