I agree that this is a great list, and I'm going to copy it and put it in my service manual, but didn't the modified CCT appear on the 2014 models?

I also thought the Gen 2 also had improved intakes, and possibly different rings? Different cat.

Europe has the new mapping, but I don't think the U.S. got it.

I am not sure you could call the bike Gen 3, as the only real chance, other then the BNG, is the rims, on at least the U.S. bikes.

Gen 1 bikes had the headlight harness recall, believe in 2012, but definitely by 2013. Also the wiring harness recall in 2018.

Agree this is a good reference.
When you get into the details this could get messy but if your are up to it ... here are some more comments.

Comments on: Improvements & Fixes / 2014
The infill panel is on ES models only.
These items should probably be put together: New ES model / Adjustable suspension at the push of a button

Colors
Here are some references that list specs (including colors) and has photos for each model.
Just copy one of the two lines below (not the quote marks) and paste into google search. Change the year to what you want and delete es to look at non es models.

"site:bikez.com 2014 yamaha super tenere es specs"
See attached file, this what I came up with for a list of colors.

This thread has been made into a sticky, meaning that if people want to find it, simply go to the "Super Tenere Discussion" sub-forum (the one we are now in) and it will always be at/near the top of the list of threads.

ksd2006 - Please keep updating the list in your initial post. Pretty soon this thread will be pages long and info will be lost or hard to find otherwise. If you are overwhelmed or tied up, just let AvGeek or I know and we can make updates with our Super Duper Moderator powers. Thanks!
