Super Tenere and the WR250R... It's a good combo.

It is a good combo. Perhaps the ideal complimentary pair.

Maybe someone needs to fabricate and sell a davit so we can hang our WRs on the back of our Teneres. You never know when that could come in handy. 8)

AMEN!!! After 12 hours of looking at the SuperTen out of the window at work

I took off on the WRR for some fun today. Stopped off at the Glade Creek Falls

And then I hit out for some exploration. I made it into the Anglins Creek drainage headed for the Meadow River

The Gravel got a bit better ...

Until I had to join up with the rails-to-trails on the Meadow

And here is the bottom of the connector. I rode the SuperTen up that section behind the WRR a few weeks ago. The K60's performed flawlessly!

Smooth sailing on the rails to trails

Hit the Gauley and had to go down and check out the Confluence of the two rivers

AnD then thru one of the old tunnels till I could blast out the old trail at the Confluence Resort

A great solo ride on a sunny Thursday afternoon. There was so much more than I saw and got to ride but simply never pulled out the camera.

This WRR is AMAZING!!! It is indeed the PERFECT complement to the SuperTen.

Looks like some very nice places to ride. But as a fan of Hatfield McCoy, I already knew that.

They are a great complement to each other. The Tenere reminded me how much I liked riding off pavement. The WR is reminding me how much fun you can have on a dedicated dirt bike. For me it is the definition of a well balanced fleet.

Now that I have my WR mostly setup I'm very happy with it and looking forward to getting out and letting it rip. If only my work schedule would let me do it. Someday...

I have not ridden everywhere, but I would stack up the ADV resources here against anywhere. Plus I don't think I was ever further than 40 miles from the house. Everything that I posted photos of from yesterdays ride is stuff that I have already ridden won the SuperTen.

The Hatfield-McCoy trails and Burning Rock get alot of attention, but there are drawbacks - they are a ways away from me, they require a permit, and they can be so crowded and augured out by ATVs and side-by-sides that it is not alot of fun. Much of the riding right here in the NRG region is just as good if not better and the access, cost, and solitude can't be beat. Much of my riding yesterday was on Westvaco land that might be as much as 10-20k per tract. They are riddled with "roads" of varying difficulty - with most of them actually being on the Garmin TOPO maps and BirdsEye satellite imagery.

SpklBuk and I get out every so often on the SuperTens, but I have only one real riding partner for these offroad trails and our scheds don't match up as often as I would like so I am out solo more often than I would like (which makes me tend to be more cautious).

The WRR had been so much fun and I expect I'll head out somewhere else today to see what I can get into.

Now that my WR is almost setup the way I want it I'm just starting the process of getting to learn it. So far this is the ideal little bike to for blasting around off the beaten path. There is not a lot of adventurous off rode anywhere near me. But even running round the watershed area up in Frederick, MD today was pretty enjoyable. The WR is a great little bike and a perfect complement to the S10.

My personal fleet is complete. After I find a used XT225/250 for my wife, I'll be done buying bikes...for a while.
