I am sure we can get them, I'm just not sure if we have them now or the price. I will check.

Thanks,

Tony
Hi Tony, just in case they don't show the part number in your system. Here it is: Yme-w0789-00

I am interested in a couple pair too.

I'm planning to order those items from a dealer in Ontario, Canada and I will pick them up when visiting family.

Let me know if you're interested and I could order a few. They also have the LED signals in stock.

Thanks

This is a re-post form my ADV posting. We will have kit prices available soon....... We have opted to do better pricing on kits we put together rather than offer the kit from Yamaha and give away a camera. These are the OEM Yamaha accessories and we will also have Jesse Luggage as well. I will have a S10 in my dealership on Feb 11-12 and the guys from Jesse are coming to do some fitment so they can get started on the mounts now. I will keep you posted.

I finally recieved the pricing for the OEM accessories for the Super Tenere.
I am offering these at a substantial discount, however they are not available as of yet. I will post when I have availability information.

These will not be on my website until Yamaha updates our price files, and that may be a while.

Those wanting to be placed on a waiting list needs to contact me via my email and I will keep track of it and let you know when I have them or at least have a firm release date for the U.S.

I have pictures, but it will take a little time to strip it out of the powerpoint presentation I was sent and will post them as soon as my dumb self can figure it out!

The prices are the same nationwide. A dealer can give the warranty away if they choose to. I just choose to discount them. ;D

Just curious...do you have to buy the Y.E.S. from the dearler you buy the bike from? Do you have to buy it at time of purchase?

You can buy the warranty from anyone you choose with the excetion of Florida residents. If you reside in Florida, you must purchase a warranty from a Florida dealer.

You can purchase the warranty anyime as long as the original warranty is still in effect. Once the original warranty expires, so does your option of purchasing the Y.E.S. plan.

Thanks,

Tony

I have not so good news for those wanting the headlight protector.............
The DOT would not approve the protector and Yamaha will not bring them into the U.S.
Also, the led turn signals for the Euro bikes cannot be used on the U.S. bikes as the DOT will not allow it due to not enough sq inches of area visible...... :'(

Thanks Tony for posting we have been hearing grumbles about the headlight protector not being allowed. The turn signals could be an issue on state inspections if folks switch to them and their state has the requirement like VA does.

Not having the headlight protector has pluses and minues. The glare off of headlight protectors is very annoying at night. If you never ride at night no problem but if you do, it requires a visor(pointing backwards) or edge cover on the headlight protector to restore night riding ability.

I could take it or leave it I don't have any plans on leaving the road surface but I could still take a rock off a dump truck or something. I don't like the idea of glare while riding. That makes my farkle list alittle cheaper and I'm dumping the OEM hard bag liners off my list. Right now I have OEM side bags, side deflectors, and skid plate that's it. I will add some Advance Auto LED light strips front and rear so I will be seen more.

Here are the Y.E.S. plans.........
1 yr $342.00
2 yr $397.00
3 yr $441.00
4 yr $479.00

Also, residents of the state of Florida can't purchase a warranty from anyone other than a dealer in Florida. (sorry)

This is over and above what comes standard with the bike.
Tony,
Sorry if this was already asked but...Does the Y.E.S. plan require the bike receive regular servicing by a dealership in order to remain valid?

Thanks,
Kevin

As it is a factory warranty it falls under the Magnusson-Moss Act. This would make it illegal for them to require you to service it through a dealer. You only need to make sure you service it per the service specs. It's very easy - keep your receipts, use ONLY parts that are approved for the vehicle you put them on, create a log book that indicates what you did, when, mileage. Done.

Just to add a little something. When you get a cash register receipt, make a copy of it. I have had problems with them fading over time and not being able to read them. As said above, keep the log book UP TO DATE. I even keep my OEM oil filters for the break in period with the date and mileage on them. Anal I know, but when you pull all the records out, it will end any discussion of who is responsible.

Kevin,

No you don't. Just keep receipts for oil, filters, etc and you will be fine.

Will your accessory and YES prices still be good in nov? Can i pay for a warranty now and get it activated when the bike comes in?
The prices will still be good then. You can't purchase a warranty until you have a VIN to assign it to. Those should be the same then as well.

Thanks,

Tony
