Cheers. I lost my FJR to a left turning idiot, and am considering the ST as a replacement. Right now, I've got a KLR for my dual sport, and a Ninja 250r as a play bike/wife's bike. The ST would fill the dual sport and touring holes in my lineup. I think.

I'll know more when I can actually find one to sit on, maybe even ride. ::26::

Welcome. well you are up there in my home state (Algona), wish you were closer you could ride mine. I think you will like the bike but not familiar enough with your stable to know how this would fit. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you aboard. :)

Sorry to hear about your FJR.

A dealer from Grimes Iowa just listed a Raven ST in the FS section of the forum the other day...click Here. Maybe close by.

Welcome aboard! I went from a FJR and a KLR to the SuperT so it can be done!!! You should be able to find one at one of the dealers - plus we have some members here from Iowa as well.

Good luck!!!

Welcome. My XTZ12 has replaced my ST1300 and KLR650. I think it's great!

Welcome aboard, Plug. I think you will find that the Tenere will do exactly what you want it to. I just did a 3,000 km trip and found it most comfortable and plenty of power. A mighty fine motorsickel. Better getter done. R

I just did that. Sold my concours and klr 650 for an ST. Drove "fast" up to some hilly areas on major highways (something my klr did not do very well) and then poked and climbed around some non-serviceable roads (something that my concourse would never do) and it was awesome. Best of both worlds.
Good luck
