So if you cant fix it with super glue and duct tape is it worth keeping? I decided I hated the stupid useless semi clear map arm pouch thingy on my Olympia ADV jacket. Sooo I cut it off! I accidentally sliced into the top layer of the double layer cordura leaving a 1/4" cut in my $300 jacket!!!! I was going to sew it, but it would look like crap especially since there was really no way to get in behind it. I took a 1/2"x1/2" piece of gorilla tape and slipped it carefully inside getting it flat and centered under the cut. I then took some handy dandy super glue and put a small line of adhesive under both sides of where the cut is going to lay. I pressed it down and abracadabra it is an almost invisible and very strong repair. I then touched up along the cut with a tiny bit of super glue and let it soak in and dry. I LOVE SUPER GLUE!! Works fantastic on Cordura. I keep a small tube in my tank bag cause you never know when it will come in handy.

::026:: on the Gorilla tape, they make a mini-roll that's convenient to pack. Great idea using the SuperGlue to seal in a quality patch.

;)Nice one - definitely one to add to the emergency stash, especially now 'easy' dispensers are available. Only recently learned [and usubsequently used] that superglue was a US invention developed during Vietnam for emergency wound closure ! So cool.
