Finally got some time to run the heal guards on the mill. The stock guards work great but were a bit ugly. I didn't like the idea of buying something that was going to function about the same, but leave the stock bits in a box. The program is still saved at the machine shop, pretty sure Randy or Allen would be happy to take your stock guards and make them "World Crosser'esque". Asheville Paint and Powder our of Asheville, NC did the powder coating, and A&R machining out of Greenville, SC did the milling for me. Cost was 40 bucks for the pair, not sure if future jobs would be less since set up and programming is done. I am pretty happy with how things turned out and I prevented a couple parts from cluttering my shop.

Looks Good!! How about a pic of the left side showing what you have done in the can area? Thanks

Photo as requested. I dare say the stock back-end of this bike was the ugliest thing I have ever seen. It was almost as if they started with engine and frame, than aesthetics worked their way from front to rear, but they ran out of time on the back-end, and just said "the hell with it". I have gotten rid of all the plastic on the sub-frame and still waiting for the flat racks from Jessee luggage. I am going to lathe some spacers similar to how Touratech mounts their rear rack. I am going to use the Jesse Hidden Compartment to replace the nylon brick that passenger pillion mounted too.
