Stock seat..... Sore butt!!!

My latest experiment was to send a new OEM front seat to Seth Laam for his $199 modifications. Seth worked for Rick Mayer for several years, BTW. His first attempt was very close and probably would work for most. I prefer to ride toward the front of the seat, so discussed this with Seth and he did a free mod which has worked out very well. Right now, I think it is a keeper. Evidently, I am to seats as others are to tires when it comes to experimenting. I honestly think I have found the answer with Laam, though. Very good quality, cooperation and price.

I did the same thing and basically have had the same experience as you as I also like to sit toward the front of the seat. Second time around I think Seth has got it right, although I'm still in the break-in period and haven't done a mega-mileage ride on it yet so I'll reserve final judgment for now. Seth sucks at answering emails but he's good to deal with if you can catch him by phone. And to his credit he paid return shipping the second time around even though I'm in Japan.
