Come on, you need to tell us more, all the gory details!
After 800,000 miles of touring 2 up over 40 years ,turned right onto a D road near Bergerac ,turned to the girlfriend to chat for a second,hit wet grass on right hand side of the road,ended up down one of those lovely ditches they have there,handlebars were at road height with both of us trapped under the bike,lucky to have hard panniers and engine bars ,definitely would have broken ankles or legs without hence smashed spotlight,3rd gear so we were going about 35 - 40mph,schoolboy error and a reminder of how quick things happen.

i thought the same those older halogen bulb lights are really not that good as i had a set on my 2013 and really not available anymore even second hand its cheaper to buy different led ones now

These things happen so easily! I have just got home after 2000 miles in 9 days around France riding solo, and it often crossed my mind “what if…..” The important thing is you are both OK, by the way, I passed near Bergerac yesterday on my way to the Ferry in Caen
