Stadium Yamaha into the crapper

For anyone not aware, it seems likely Stadium Yamaha is no longer a good seller. I ordered a month ago, and others did as well, and all got the same cut and paste lie that Yamaha lost the parts. Now no response to emails, so looks like they take money, but don't deliver parts.

More to the story.

There are changes going on at Stadium. I to have had issues recently but from what Ive been told they are very close to being back on track........ Ive been shopping with them for over 15 years. Ive never been under the impression they would take anyones money without delivering the parts, they have always delivered. Im having Tenere parts being brought in from Japan and its been a really fun experience,,....... NOT.... But it's not Stadiums fault.. (if I didn't know the details it would be very easy to blow a head gasket and point at the dealership)

The employees are doing they best THEY can.. Don't bite their head off, take it to the owner.. They are great guys over their, if you have had parts issues in the last few months give them another try in the future..

They soon will be back on track like normal, give them another shot someday....

Received a medium sized order from them about four weeks ago, quick delivery, no problems as usual. Hope it is a mix-up or temporary issue & you all get your parts soon.

Ron,

I only suggest this because Ive shopped there so long.. I would suggest you call and speak to the new owner. They are working on getting everything straightened out, and back on 'normal' track. I have no idea why they would send out some email like someone posted... Ask the owner when you have him on the phone.......

And who is the new owner now?
 If it's not Jason I would like to talk with him.
Still no Jason after four months of phone calls and emails over my defective 14 CCT I bought from them.
He was all on fire to help me on the issue, but never asked me to return it then fell off the radar close to two months ago.
I have a $123.00 piece of useless CCT sitting in a box.

Yeah I don't know what happened but I haven't been back to them for service since before the Arkansas rally. Took them almost 2.5 months to strip the bike for 26k service, CCT swap and clutch basket. Seemed a bit excessive since they originally quoted me 10 days. When I finally got the bike back, the battery was dead and had to get the parts guys help me push start. When I get home notice a few bolts missing/loose. Took it back to them and some guy I'd never met before tells me that I loosened them and am just trying to stir up trouble with them. He said he was new manager of the dealership. I WAS a customer of theirs for 2 years previous and used them for just about everything I could. Haven't been back since he accused me of lying and trying to start issues with them.

That's some great customer service.

wow wee! brilliant way to handle a complaint. Seriously, there's a reason I do all my own work. Oddly enough I was going to order quite a few parts from Stadium..might hold off now.

I have always used procaliber.com for my parts. I think I heard of them here on this forum.
I've had zero issues ordering from them for my Tenere, or for any of my other bikes.

Does this place provide specialty parts or are these all just OEM? What's so popular about it? I order all my OEM parts through a local dealer.

This sucks. I ordered the heated grips for my 2014 on Feb 15th, email confirmation stated a Feb 23rd-26th delivery. As you guessed, March 6th no parts. 2 emails sent, no response. Will call tomorrow and have them cancel order, then dispute charges with my credit card if all doesn't go well.

Sometimes paying cheapest, you get what you pay for. ::005:: <--- middle finger.

They are for OEM parts, and tended to have the lowest prices.

Called today. Guy said Yamaha shipped to them on March 3rd, they are suppose to get it Mon or Tues. They will email me a tracking number when they send it to me.

I'll give them the benefit of doubt at this point, but another week is my limit.

On a side note- The west coast dock worker slow down has left billions of dollar of product stranded on ships waiting to get offloaded and on loaded. I know Wa. state farmers have lost millions of $ of spoiled ag products (potatoes, apples) because they couldn't get shipped in a timely manner and rotted. Maybe this played a role. Who knows.

I received a phone call from the new owner/manager of Stadium Yamaha. They are now Lone Star Yamaha apparently. The owner said he found my name and phone number on a post-it note under a stack of papers. He didn't know what or why my info was written down and discarded the way it was. Said he was doing everything he could to get in contact with past customers and figure out if all of their needs had been met. They are planning on a renovation of the store and shop. He invited me out to check out the new staff and hopefully answer any questions I had. So I'm thinking Saturday I may stop by and see what's up with the new place, see how many of the old staff were kept on and maybe they can earn my business again.
