I wouldn't pay the price difference. The skid plate is the same, weak sister OEM accessory available right now ane all the carbon side panels do is drive up the price while possibly making the bike look better. Giving it the name world crosser is not appropriate for this poser.

Bought my bike a year too early?... I think not! seeing this joke makes me feel better about that move.

Me thinks not not, after all it is a standard XTZ/S10 with lots of farkles added... check out what the MCN blurb reads...
"The new model boasts lightweight carbon-fibre side panels, fork protectors and frame guards plus black anodized aluminium skid plate, drive shaft shield and rear brake guard for extra protection off road. It also has special badging and will be available in either blue, black/gold or red. All of these components are supplied as a ‘Worldcrosser kit’ which is fitted by the dealer to the standard Super Tenere. There will also be a Worldcrosser ‘R’ version which comes with a lightweight titanium Akrapovic exhaust, carbon fibre heat shield, fog lights and LED indicators."

So take your stock standard XTZ/S10 and do the mods yourself... you'll likely make a saving, and as others have pointed out some of the OEM farkles aren't that highly regarded... so add others better suited to the job

+1. I'm also hoping that picture isn't showing the final decision for the skid plate.

Iunno about those fork guards. On the one hand, I definitely want something that's better than what the factory fender does, but the fork guards on the Worldcross are HUUUUUUUUUGE...
