I setup a SpotWalla location page for Yamaha Super Tenere riders. The direct link to the page is:
http://spotwalla.com/locationViewer.php?id=78
This link can be shared wherever and however you choose. You can also use the link to embed the location page into another webpage or blog or... More information on that may be found here:
http://spotwalla.com/help/lps.php#embedding
Before joining the page, please understand that the page is publicly viewable by everyone and the mule they rode in on. SpotWalla does provide you with some tools to help safeguard your location, though. These are discussed below.
Secure zones are regions of the map where locations should not be shown. They allow you to safeguard your home, place of work, grandma's house or any other region of the map where you want to maintain some privacy. More information on secure zones can be found here:
http://spotwalla.com/help/devices.php#home
I have secure zones around my home, place of work, my sister's joint in Texas and a few friend's homes where I may visit from time to time.
Controlling the types of messages that update one's location is briefly discussed in the directions about how to join a location page:

My family and close friends know that Tracking messages mean I'm moving; Custom messages mean I'm stopped for a short period of time; Help messages mean I need to speak to someone soon, but I'm not in a life-threatening situation; and Ok messages mean I'm stopped for the evening. And because I use Ok messages in this manner, I choose to *not display* these messages on public trips or location pages.
So y'all have fun with it, but be careful and use the tools at your disposal to control your degree of exposure. And if you have any questions, concerns, etc you can post them here or contact me directly by PM or email.
