Whoa .... I was just watching BBC news at 21:20 when they said look out of the window and you can see the space station for the next 90 seconds. Rushed outside and sure enough there it was cruising past. Brilliant .... I saw it. Apparently there are a couple of Cosmonauts doing a space walk as well. I feel really pleased to have seen it. Didn't have time to get my phone to record it though :(

I have a Phone app ISS Detector it lets you know when it is coming over, and also start time, end time, start elev, end elev, start direction, and end direction and a compass. The station comes over nearly every night and sometimes twice a night. Yes it is really cool to see.

I hadn't really thought about it going by every night .... I guess it would have to as it ain't going anywhere else ::) I think that the only reason the BBC mentioned it was because of the space walk. I'll get that app (thanks for mentioning that limey) and check it out again I'll get my big spotting scopes out and have a good look.
