With about 20,000 kms on my Mitas tires, I have noticeably more wear and a bit of cupping on the left side of my front tire. Apparently I ride further and faster through left turns than right so I came up with this solution to even up the wear.
At first I considered just remounting the tire but after I had the wheel off I noticed the brake pads were thinner at the rear so flipped the calipers around to even that up as well. After riding a few months there is now less cupping, and as an added bonus..... with the wheel turning backwards the odometer is now counting down. This will surely improve my trade-in value when I pick up my new Pan America in July.
