Now that's an interesting place to put the filler cap. When on the bike does that sit almost flat? Any pictures of it on the bike?
Ok, after going and looking at my bike that is where an OEM cap is. Hmmm.

When mounted on the bike, the filler cap is in almost exactly the same position as stock. I have no photos of this mounted, sorry.

I noticed you are almost straight west of Lancaster on the other side of Harrisburg. I am going there in Oct. I gotta think about this as it would e nice to have the extra. How does the extra 2 gallons feel? Where does it carry most of the extra? Higher, wider, ??

Yes, I'm straight west of Lancaster, and south of Harrisburg. Midway between Gettysburg and York. Width-wise the tank is virtually the same as stock. The extra two gallons approx is added to the height mainly (hence the need for the included bar risers, otherwise your bars will hit the tank at full lock left / right). Personally I don't notice the extra 14 or so pounds of fuel weight when it's full.

Hey Dan, great looking tank. I am interested in what the shipping cost would be to: 89506, Reno, NV? Also, did you build this tank? And can you think of any reason (other than having to use my own risers) that this won’t work on a 2012?

Thanks for the interest - however the tank has since been sold.

If you're talking to the purchaser no I don't as it is still awaiting to be painted. Once it is on photos will be produced on the thread... What TenereGUY has been up to.
