I've a full set of aluminum panniers for sale including the mounts - two side boxes and a top case. These are sold under various names Seven is this brand. I feel the construction is quite good especially considering the price point. They are made from 2mm thick aluminum that has a nice crinkle black powder coat over the top. Features:
*All keyed the same.
*Latch hardware is nice, can be unlatched without key if the lock is not locked.
*Top tie does on each box.
*Good positive interlock seal around the top of each box/lid.
*Lid has automatic prop to hold it open.
*All boxes have strap tie downs, side boxes have removable strap handles
The box dimensions are (HxLxW):
*Top case; 13.5"x16.5"x12.75", or, 45L
*Side case; 15.5"x17"x9", or, 35L
The top case holds a full size helmet easily, the side cases will not fit a helmet. The top case was mounted on my Buell thus has eight symmetric holes in the bottom that used the brackets shown. Please check pictures. Likely you can reuse some of these holes for your own mounting and weld, patch, or otherwise cover the others. Oh, the cases also come with some nylon external case covers.
The boxes are in excellent shape and the top box only used for a few months. Side boxes and pucks are new and unused. These will mount to any frames from Touratech, Bumot, Givi (frame type), Jesses and others. Great set of boxes, buy a frame mount from one of those companies and you could have a complete aluminum setup for well under $850.
