Apparently you haven't ridden KTM's big ADV bikes.
The closes I got to a big KTM was my 300 exc..That bike was handful The big KTM's aren't meant for the riding I do, I'm a street'er I went off road this weekend with the Triumph and that 580lbs pounds on the dirt with street tire wasn't real reassuring.

That could explain the attitude of one of our new members. Not very friendly.
I hate to say this and I really hated to find out the hard way but Triumph has now put it's self in the GS league. This is why I ride alone. Triumph wanted 500 bucks for the 1st oil change I told them to go pound sand, I change my own oil....But... You can't turn off the service light you have to take it to Triumph and they charge you 60 bucks for a 5 minute job turning off the service light...This really pissed me off after spending 24k. I was able to down load TuneECU and using a bluetooth obd and my cell phone I was able to turn it off myself. I like the bike but this over priced bullsh!t is ridiculous.

Yeah the guy who bought it knew he was going to buy it before he even seen it. I think Yamaha screwed the pooch stopping production on that bike. I guarantee they will start making them again.

Hey Dmadman, I’m the guy that bought your tenere. Gotta say I am loving this bike! I could have ridden my gen 1 till the wheels fell off and been perfectly happy but I am really liking this upgrade. Still leaning the bells and whistles this bike has. The cruise alone was worth the upgrade. Even got to try out the heated grips on Kenosha pass after a soaking rain / hail storm. Took it up for an overnight camping trip near Buena Vista, don’t worry I cleaned her when I got home. I’ve since added my led lights, gps and the trusty remote garage door button so the bike really feels right. Just a thanks for the sale and hope you are having as much fun on your Tiger as I’m having on this 10. IMG_6128.jpg

I'm not getting too much riding in my tailbone is really messed up and I am having to go see a specialist now. I did a nice ride last friday up into central city and went off roading and came up on a ghost town and some 19th century cemeteries and hiked around reading the old head stones. I wanted to ask you about the knife you had on your belt, I collect knifes and I really like that one. what make is it? Oh BTW the brake fluid is most likely the original fluid and I was going to change it but didn't get around to doing it...Just something to think about.

Well that sounds super uncomfortable for riding, hope you are able to get that fixed and get back in saddle again soon.
The knife was probably the ‘Bradford Guardian 3’. I’ve been wearing that one for a while now. Yeah it’s a great size and holds an edge pretty good.
Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking about changing out the clutch and brake fluid so will just go ahead with that now.
