edit: 11/22/19 Sold! Took about an hour. Will PM parties that were interested in parts.

2015 Gen II Super Tenere, 40,360 miles today 11/01/19. Factory heated grips. New set of Mitas Terra Force 90/10 tires going on shortly. For sale at $10,000 USD as is. Fully Transferable Yamaha Extended Warranty, (YES), until August 2nd, 2021.

If it doesn't sell in this form, I will return it to stock and sell the bike with the original factory red tank and body work at $7500. NADA low/high is $6880/9070 for the bike in stock trim. Red tank was removed at 3k miles. Red bodywork was wrapped at the same time. Factory heated grips & newish half cover will go with bike.

If you're looking for a Super Tenere, you have some idea about this bike. The Super Ten will take you anywhere you want to go. This is my second one. My first one took me to Alaska and every state in the US except Hawaii and most of Canada. Goat trails to Super Highways, it just does it all with a quiet competence. You don't need drama in the middle of no where. Two up or solo, dirt or pavement, rain or shine it just keeps going and you enjoy the ride too.

All other items listed below will be sold separately IF THE BIKE DOESN'T SELL AT THE $10K PRICE. If you are interested in something in the list below as a separate item, please PM me and I will keep a list in order of request. I will post if the bike is getting torn down for sale in stock form and prices on individual items, plus PM anyone that requested an item prior to posting individual items for sale on the forum.

Expanded OEM tank - 8.2 Gallons, coated in LineX extreme UV resistant and gas proof. No inside coatings, no leaks. This will continue to look awesome forever, not be affected by sun exposure. Textured finish. Think knee grip pads...everywhere! 300 mile range plus reserve. 400 miles easy at lower speeds. Fuel gauge works normally, just doesn't drop the first bar until 160-200 miles.

Factory OEM tank in perfect condition in '15 red color included. It's in a big box and well padded. If you don't want it, no problem. Don't ask for a discount on the bike.

SW-MOTECH EVO 2.0 City 12v Electric QUICK-LOCK Tank Bag - 11-15L Mounting rings no longer electric. (extra set of NEW std mounts available (they don't normally sell the top mount to the bag w/o a bag))

SW-MOTECH Vibration-Damped Quick Release GPS Holder with Garmin dēzl™ 760LMT in RAM Cradle on short RAM ball/extension to raise it up above turn signals. (not needed for smaller GPS) (Garmin 2797LMT Available)

ROX 2" Pivoting Risers
ROX Risers Install Kit
Grip Buddies (easy to remove, heated grip compatible.)

California Scientific Medium Windscreen mounted w/o Factory adjuster (no buffeting) (I do not have the OEM adjuster)
Yamaha OEM Side Wind Deflectors (These came off my '12 and are painted matte black to eliminate sun glare)

Suspension:
Ohlins 30mm Fork Kit Adventure for XT 1200Z (FKA106) (Factory internals go with the bike)
Touratech Extreme Rear Shock / Hi-Lo Comp, PDS & Hyd Pre-Load Adjust (3k mile stock shock available)
Shock Sox (new-ish)

Continued in next post.

Very interested in the Rumbux bags if they don't go with the bike.
I've put you on the parts list. The sale appears to be a done deal, but I will post when it finalizes or if things change.

@2talltoo - Mini-Moto adventure. I'll post something when there is something in the garage. There may be an interim bike of some kind as well.

@twinrider - Not just no, HELL NO! :D The KTMs are nice bikes to ride and certainly feature rich. Too many of my Rumbux customers told me about their KTM ownership experiences for me to ever buy a KTM. The last thing I need right now is a bigger, higher maintenance bike.

Yeah, I figured that. Which still leaves the question of your next bike unanswered.

I somewhat answered your question - Mini-Moto. Honda refers to the Super Cub, Grom, Monkey and coming Cub Trail as Mini-Moto bikes. Waiting on the local Honda dealer to confirm or deny that the CT-125 will be sold in the US and when. If the wait is to 2021 model year, may pick up a couple of Super Cubs until the Postie bikes come in.

For those hoping for parts, I just got documents notarized and am waiting on confirmation from the buyer's CU before mailing them off.

Eric, good luck with your next bike purchase. It’s all about what bike puts that boyish grin on your face. The bike is just a tool to accomplish that. I too am watching with great interest the new Honda Trail. We had a trail 90 as a kid and I rode the wheels off that thing. Literally. My buddies called it the “toilet seat 90”. It wasn’t fast, but always ran and didn’t use much gas. Just wouldn’t run without a battery.

I would buy a new Honda CT125 just to put that smile back on my face. Honda Monkeys are starting to pop up on the classifieds now. Maybe they will come down in price as the newness wears off.

Good luck with your sale.

The deal's not done until the money is in the bank, but the buyer's CU confirmed they are approved for the purchase amount and I mailed bill of sale, power of attorney and the title to the buyers CU today. Out of state buyer, but someone I know from the LD community. If the deal falls thru for some reason, the CU just mails me back the title, un-signed.

I've seen a couple of Monkeys under $3k with very low miles on them. If necessary, we may buy Super Cubs and trade them back in on Trails when they become available. Might be possible to work a trade in deal at purchase, with conditions that work for everyone.

Money has been received and the deal is done. Buyer to pick up the bike soon. Two items remain that are in the For Sale section of the forum. Shock & tank bag mounts.

Small bikes are fun. I have an XT250. For me it hits the sweet spot between being light yet having enough power to haul gear and keep up with traffic. It's also fun on dirt, especially after adding the Cogent suspension.

I've got a lot of thoughts on you selling your bike.

Congrats on the sale I guess would be first. Nothing worse than wanting to sell and having the item not move.

Hope that you aren't leaving us or at least will keep checking back in. We've been writing back and forth for so long it'd be really strange to lose touch.

On the upside, Dirt_Dad and I ran across an older couple on little Hondas a few months ago and they love them. Been all over the mid-Atlantic having mini-adventures. I could see it someday.

Good Luck in any event Eric and still look forward to meeting in person some day.

 How did I miss THIS post? Maybe I just didn't see WHO was selling their ride. I am assuming that you'll still be here; being knowledgeable of all things Tenere and such. CW is right, congratulations on the sale. I wouldn't be able to make the switch smaller; poor bike(s) wouldn't be able to take it.

It's unlikely that I'll just up and disappear. I'm still on the FJR forum, though don't go there often any more. But w/o a S10 physically in the garage and a FSM to look things up in, my relevant knowledge will wane. I'll probably still try and play the tag game here, along with the FJR forum and ADV. Anything with two wheels works for those. I suspect I'll simply swing by less often over time, instead of feeding the daily addiction that I've had since 2011.

You never know where paths will cross. Wife and I want to play tourist in DC at some point and might get around to that in '20, though no firm plans exist right now. HI was cheaper than DC, so we went to HI this year. If any of you are wandering thru Tupelo, hit me with a PM. The guest room is usually available to wandering bikers for a night or two if we're in town.

Congrats on the sale and thanks for all your helpful info.
As far as the CT125, it’s very much like my first bike (CT90) and stirs a lot of memories.
Ride safe, have fun, be cool!
