Employment/Life issues... have forced me to part with some things; my Tenere being one of them. I'm horrible at negotiations, so I'll just thow it out there... my rock bottom price is $10750. I listed it locally for $11900, just cause I know everyone is going start by making an offer lower than asking price and I wanted some room to negotiate. I've had multiple offers at $9000, but just can't let it go for that. I figure that for anything less than that, I will take one more ride to Colorado with my friends this summer and try again at a lower price when I get back.

So question for you guys... do you think I have it priced to high? I was thinking $10750 was a good price; not giving it away good, but still pretty good. It's been a while since i priced any of these, so I may be out of touch with reality.

2014 Tenere ES
Extras:
• Crash Bars - SW MOTOTECH
• Skid Plate - AltRider
• Side Cases - Yamaha
• Side Stand Foot - Alt Rider
• Bottle Mount - Lowbrow Customs (for fuel cell or drink)
• GPS/Phone Mount - RAM
• Fork Guards - Custom
• Windshield Wings/Spats - Custom/black tinted
• Headlight Guard - Holan
• Auxiliary Lights - PIAA
• Two Brothers Exhaust - I still have the OEM exhaust in excellent condition. Two Brothers is not a very loud exhaust. Deep "growl", lighter in weight and just a little more HP.
• Rear Case - Actually it's a small lockable pelican style gun case to store smaller valuable if you don't have the side cases on.
• Tank Bag (not pictured) - Wolfman
• I also have a brand new pair of $200 Forma Adventure Boots (Brown Waterproof Oiled Leather) that I will throw in. The are size 47 (EU). I wear a 12.5; they are adjustable and will probably work for a size 11 to 13.

Bike is in excellent condition and has never been down. Besides a week long trip to Colorado and a few local rides, it's unfortunately spent it's life sitting covered up in my garage. Beside a few minor scuffs (on the side cases/crash bars... the bike itself has zero flaws that I am aware of) from the back roads / trails, it looks outstanding.

Nice bike. If you'd listed it a month ago I would have bought it. I just purchased a very similar non ES bike on this forum for $11K. Few more miles and upgraded suspension, extended warranty and custom seat but otherwise very similar farkles. I thought the price I paid was very fair.

I don't think you'll have any trouble getting your price come springtime. January isn't the time most folks are looking to buy.

I am sure there are many others on this forum that have more experience than I do, but that price sounds like a good deal to me. I think for the year, low miles, ES model and all of the farkles it is actually pretty aggressive. Looking at the list price of others in your area that have sold also indicate that.

Good luck. Also you might want to read the new member intros. There is a new member from Oklahoma that said he is in the market for at 14+ model S10. You might want to reach out to him directly. ::022::

Thanks and thanks for the heads up about the potential buyer.
I've been keeping a look out in the local ads... but very few Teneres and no ESs listed since I've been looking. Yeah, figure in a month or so that people will start getting the itch... guess I was just looking for confirmation that I was in the right ballpark :) . Not too excited to be selling it, but it is what it is.

I was doing nationwide searches of Craigslist ads for a Super Tenere in Nov/Dec. There are always about a dozen for sale if you use something like SearchTempest. Your bike is very nicely set up and very much price competitive based on what I saw.

Tough time of year for a fly and ride. I am actively shopping but it's a bit of a distance for me to drive and trailer it back, otherwise, we would be having a conversation.

Oklahoma to North Carolina?

That's just a bit farther than a mere jaunt on the Tenere! >:D

Just messing with ya.
That is a sweeet 14ES. And it's sure to get snatched up.

I just bought a Tenere sight unseen in Seattle and won't be able to pick it up until summer. No biggie. Couldn't ride it in New England now anyways.

Well... got a deposit today.
I appreciate the encouragement and bike compliments. I'm sure in a couple of years we'll have this behind us and I'll be back on a Tenere. Hopefully they'll have a white/black Worldcrosser edition in the US for 2019. :)

Nope. I had gotten as far as checking one way plane ticket prices ($247) and the weather forecast for the next 10 days!
Too bad. Looked like a good deal!

They do seem to pop up here ever so often. Mine will probably be listed sometime later this year. I seem to ge the "bug" for a change every 18-24 months!!! :D
