I have had a jump in the back yard for 23 years, there was a 40 foot gap between the take off and landing ramp.
About 6 years ago I did something really dumb and flipped my bike forward upside down on me , on the landing.
I can't say it hurt because I can't remember it, Luckily only a broken collar bone out of it.
I had probably jump that think a thousand times before that day, haven't jumped it again after that day.
Until yesterday,, I filled in 20 feet of the gap to make it safer. Now I can start off small and work my way up.
I keep the take off jump very steep so it's not a speed double, I have to give it a big hand full of throttle on take off to keep the bike from flipping over forward. [that's what went wrong 6 years ago.]
Now I can jump away again and get good fun exercise right in the back yard.
You still can't even see the original landing ramp in these pictures it's still to the right end of this landing.
