One of my good friends and riding buddies is a retired flat tracker from the Kenny Roberts era and he too rides an XTZ Tenere.
Among other bikes. Robert E Lee lives in Burleson TX, in a nice community too and has a garage and shop stuffed full of his old racing bikes and Mach Three Hair on Fire projects. He and Kenny are old friends as they were both Yamaha Factory riders at one time.
Robert is one of those guys that if you ride a ride he leads you better bring your "A" game.
He's good! But a little too competitive for most average riders.
Robert is now giving Dual Sport Riding Lessons to Dual Sport Riders who want to up their game of just conquere the skills one needs.
