Lately my 2012 has been putting out a strong fuel odor.
So bad i had to move it out of the Garage.
I have not taken the tank off yet but have inspected through the frame around the throttle bodies and around the motor, no wet spots no leaking fuel what so ever nothing on the floor.
Checked the overflow line not blocked..
Bike has been running good as well and decent gas millage.

Any help will help! :-\

can you see the socket cap screw heads on the bottom of the fuel pump? If they're wet, you might need a new gasket (ask me how I know), but that would probably only be if you're taken the pump out at some point. Any parts of your motor just look wet?

Do you have a California model by any chance? VIN will tell for sure. If so, has it been on it's side any time recently? I'm thinking the charcoal canister may be flooded, (if a CA model).

If not, check that your breather line is attached to the bottom of the air box. The only other things that comes to mind is the tank overflow somehow venting or fuel cap's check valve being stuck. The cap is just a tiny ball and spring. Sometimes they get gummed up and when the pressure builds up on a sunny day, pop open to vent, and then stick open. BTDT. Easy to take apart and clean up, just keep track of the parts an do it over a clean cloth, (and don't forget to cover the gas tank's open hole!).

According to the warranty service record previous owner had the fuel pump O ring replaced rear seal replaced i had the headlight wiring harness replaced under recall.
No gas on the floor, motor around the throttle bodies nothing wet at all.
AS far as the valves it fires right up no fuel odor coming from the exhaust no nothing but exhaust, I know what go's on with bad tight valves and sticking valves.

Having the heat on in the house last night as the heating unit is in the garage, I had to put her out and open the windows for a couple hours and let the house air out it's that bad.
I brought it in this morning it has been sitting for over two hours I smell no gas.
My guess this is going on after I ride and pull it into the garage.

This comes to no surprise to me as everything I own has weird shit happen that no one else has.
Woody's Wheel works swears I am the only Tenere owner that has the modified 18" rear rim cracking issues?
My reply to everyone who works on my vehicles "Of Course you can't find the problem I own it"...
I am waiting for the tank to run down so I can pull and do some serious inspecting.

I can't complain as this is the first annoying issue besides the High idle low idle stall syndrome other are having.
Finicky Bitch she is. Then again it could be a Triumph!! :D and I have owned a few..

Eric was suggesting a sticky CHECK VALVE in your Gas Cap. It sounds reasonable, especially if the problem is worse when the bike has just been ridden. Hot gas expands and that check valve in your gas cap is to keep the fumes from escaping.

I pinched my fuel pump o-ring. If done just right, you could probably get enough gas to leak that it would evaporate before it soaked anything. You'd see a bit around the aluminum ring at the fuel pump or possibly filling one socket cap screw head. Mine didn't even drip.
