I found one on Atlrider's website. Touratech does not appear to have one for the '14 and up model years. Are there any other options? I like it but they want like $18 for shipping?

I just used a hockey puck, liked it so much on the V Strom did the same for the S10, only found it was a little on the thick side, so sliced a 1/3 off, now it leans at just the right angle and will not sink in soft verges or mud.

Made my own with delrin plastic. Raised the stand about .25". Leans right now. I mean left :D

Also cut off that small foot protrusion just ahead of peg that the spring hangs on. That's almost useless. I've always grab behind peg anyway.

I have found the kick stand on the 2014 to be pretty good, on most soft surfaces. If I have any doubts i just grab whatever is around, rock, stick, whatever.

I made one out of wood for my Honda NC700. I used it for the Tenere a couple times before the pig broke it in two.
I like the electrical outlet idea. Will get one. I slide it under my Air Hawk cushion

I have the Alt Rider enlarger. I ordered it from Revzilla and I really like it. Installation is a little tricky because the hardware they give you is so short but if you take your time and use your wits, you will figure it out.

Have heard this about the 2014+ model. You can contact AltRider and they will send you new fasteners. How much did this enlarger raise the sidestand?

It raises it less than 1/4 inch, not much at all. It does increase the foot size and help it bite in, which is important. As far as height goes, with such a tall, heavy, high center of gravity, like the S-10, you want the bike leaning over some. Too upright when on the side stand will make the big s-10 more prone to tipping over because there is less weight on the side stand, holding it firmly in place.

As far as the longer hardware, that will make installation easier but once you get all the screws in, you will probably have to trim them flush. Otherwise, the weight of the bike will mostly be supported by the protruding screw heads, instead of the large surface area of the foot. Just take your time, use a pair of welding vice grips to hold the enlarger firmly around the foot and the stock screws will fit just fine. It worked first try for me.

I have just fitted the Altrider and conversely the screws were a little long because they didn`t include any washers (despite the instructions showing washers), after putting a washer under the head of each screw and strong threadlock the jobs a good un.

I have a Touratech one on the Tumbler, and it rattles. It seems it can't be tightened enough to clamp down on the original foot. It won't come off, it's just irritating.

The Touratech looks good and is priced right. Put a thin spacer between the bottom of the sidestand and the enlarger. That should work.

Touratech do have one for 14 and up models. It was on special offer recently for $48 and they now seems to have run out of stock.
