Hey Guys

I really felt like I needed to make this video for all my fellow short riders out there. I know it took me the longest time to even consider a super tenere just because it looked like such a massive bike. I stand at 5'4 with a 29in inseam and ride the bike at stock height with no issues. Before I bought the bike i couldn't find any videos of short people sitting on the bike therefore I made one for any future prospective owners. I hope this helps many of you out there to come and join the amazing group of ADV riders.

In my opinion shorter folks are usually better riders.
:D:D
29" is also just about my inseam, I bought the original low seat, and in low pos. works great for me.
(I can ride it with seat in high pos. but if there is low terrain where I stop, it could get me in trouble :p:p)

The BEST riders that I've seen, in person, have been shorter/lighter. I personally think it's center of gravity (cg) thing. Especially in slow/tight situations.

I'm short and tip toe as well. I even put a RDL on and simply slide forward out of the pocket when coming to a stop. No problems here.

Where there's a will, there's a way. One of the techs at my dealer is a little person. Fantastic person, and tech. He test drives ALL of the bikes he works on; never crashed one. I bitch about my short legs, but I see him ride as well as he does....puts me in my place.

I am 5'5" 29" inseam and 180 lbs I'm strong but there's no lying this is a big heavy bike that sits tall. When I first got it I didn't ride it until I dropped both the front and rear a fair amount to ease into riding such a big machine. Now back up to stock height save for maybe a half inch, have a seat concepts low seat and while I'm on tip toes if the road dips or only one foot I find the bike quite manageable. Just gotta be conscious of where you put foot down, ie no oil spot, etc. The sole thickness of the Alpinestars Corozal boots helps too, my military work boots are a bit shorter. If anything this bike is a dream to slow speed maneuver compared to crotch rockets, until you go past a certain lean angle then you really feel the weight quick.
