Rdude, 700+ - 1 day, That's poundin out some Serious mileage man, whoa. ::26:: Tho is a Great test for man/machine; glad to hear the seat situation 'worked Very well'.

Some that have used the sheepskin have made note of some xtra height, did that influence you in any way; i.e. change seat level, add blocks to your boots... ?

Mine arrived yesterday, have it on the ST and hope to get in a few hunna miles test Sunday, and more b4 heading to FL in a few wks.

Thanks for the update. ::003::

Best/Safe ride to you the rest of the way.

Arrived down in Fredericksburg today about noon. Short day today, but yesterday was about 700+ miles. The sheepskin worked VERY well.

your a hard azz for sure, the one trip I did with it 450, then 350 convinced me it had to go. I did not have a sheepskin though, but really hated it.

Yes, the sheep skin does add a little to the saddle height - just as an air hawk or any other pad. I'd guess a net change of a 1/4". That extra might be a factor if navigating off=road, but for the type of ride I am on (virtually all highway), it makes little difference.

New ST owner here - just picked it up 2 weeks ago and a tad over 1000 miles on it and the factory seat. Corbin is now offering a front seat for the S10 - ordered one up and will provide a review as soon as I can. I really wanted this seat to work....I am fine for the first 100 miles or so, but after that the stops become more frequent and I find myself standing up when possible.

Great info on this board!!!

Cheers!

Brian,

Welcome to the forum! I believe there are around a half dozen Teneres in central Ohio. Maybe we can set up a ride before it gets too cold.

Would love to meet some fellow Central Ohio S10 riders.....cold weather is unfortunately right around the corner....spending this coming week in Orlando - but coming back on Thursday of next week to head down towards Southern VA and do some forest road riding....hope to post some pics of that ride!!!

thanks!
