Self made shaft drive cover

Here is a picture of a shaft drive cover/protector I fabricated. Mainly after a warning from mrpete64 of the possibility of catching my trouser leg on the stock one !

Now that's slick thanks for the idea. Did you make a paper template to share?

I just used the stock guard as a guide and starting point, and just drew free hand on the metal to the shape I thought looked right, then a few trial and error bends in the vice. All more luck than judgment !!

Nice work groundhog, I had the problem with the rear master cyl cover snagging my pant leg and replaced with Altrider.

Thanks for the comments everyone. It's the first time I have properly fabricated anything in metal, so it was a bit of trial and error but it turned out okay and does the job !

Hmmm, could be a good selling point - washed in genuine Peckham spring water :D
