Still need a few miles for the final break-in mileage. I hope to complete the first oil and differential lube change NLT Sunday. My early impressions of the bike is I am glad that I traded the Vee for it. The braking is way better, especially using the linked capability. The clutch is a lot smoother and easier on my left hand. This machine really wants to go and it has been hard not to wind it up during break-in miles. Did test the ABS and TC on a little gravel stretch and they worked as written about. I did just add the Madstad bracket and that made the world of difference in wind noise in the helmet. I have a Yamaha touring windscreen and winglets on order and will get some photos up when they arrive. The seat is ok for OEM, but the sticky uphostery is not to my liking and the seat is too mushy. I really liked my Corbin on the Vee and have ordered a Corbin for the S10. So far this has really been a great bike and I don't regret ditching the Vee at all. The Vee is a great bike for the price and fixed up could give the S10 a run for the money. Of course nothing beats the twin exhaust noise.

Welcome to the other side. Personally I never cared for the way the Vee sounded, but truly loved the bike. Never missed it once after getting a Tenere.

Ok, now this bike sings. Finished the 600 mile oil and gear lube change. Took it for a short spin to set the oil level. The oil light came on, but I just pulled over and shut the bike down then restarted. No problems now. Now that I don't have to baby it, it flys down the road. Got back and could barely see the oil level so add a little more till it was half way. I will keep checking it for the next couple of rides, but rain head this way -- damn. When I got home Brown left me a present, Givi engine guards ordered from Adventure Moto Stuff. I have already read in the forum to build it out from the inside so tomorrow I will be on it. Now I just need some panniers and I am set. I just can't decide right now. Definitely want metal panniers that open from the top, but there are others out there that look good to. I may get a small Givi topcase like the B33 and mount that for now. Touring is just around the corner with our warm spring weather.
