Is it a big difference over the standard Yamaha screen with regards wind buffering?
For any contemplating the Madstad- I’m 6’ and had the original screen, then tried the Yamaha Tall screen and had improved buffeting, but still was intolerable at speeds over 52mph. I just got the Madstad with bracket and 22” windscreen specifically for the Super Tenere. Winner winner- no more buffeting. There is wind noise but no more terrible headache-inducing buffeting that I had with the the original and ‘tall’ OEM screens (no matter the height). Beauty of the Madstad, (although admittedly pricey, but a U.S. Product) is optical clarity and fully adjustable for up/down and angle. I’m a fan. Good luck in your search.
