I took a serious look at the Dual Raid, but couldn't find a lot of reviews and reports on sizing were all over the place. I'm directly in the middle of every large/extra large sizing chart and didn't want to find out the hard way I ordered the wrong one. It is a great looking jacket.
For what it's worth, I went with the Olympia. Almost the same jacket, but you won't someone's first name printed across your chest. :)

I don't like to find out the hard way either so I never order gear before I get a chance to try on first to get sizing and a feel for comfort. Whether jacket, pants, boots or helmets they always fit so different from brand to brand.

I was able to try on the Scott gear yesterday. I'm 6' tall, 175 lbs, usually I wear large, and the large fit decent, the coat fit well but the pants are real short in the inseam, I don't think scott makes tall sizes but they should. Still considering the jacket but the short pants are a no go.. :-[

Yes I have the Scott Raid Jacket.

Very comfortable and built great. Inner liner kept me dry during huge down poor for 4 hours non stop while I road to Death Valley. Worked very well. I was also warm during it. 33F degree temps in down poor. Worked great. ;)

Quality build. No seams or threads coming loose. Tons of pockets. I take out inner liner and it is good up to 90 degrees then it starts being too hot on stops. I have the white and black older version. So newer one must be the same if not better.
