Assuming no rain, I'm considering a ride up this way the 27th. Inputs welcome.

No takers? Perhaps a morning run from Bloomsburg (Buckhorn exit off I80) to Eagles Mere and back. If interested, let me know. This will be road style, not Dakar/Bataan Death march stuff: mostly paved, some state forest stone/gravel roads. Knobbies and bash plates not required.

Won't go it it rains, I'll post here Friday night as the the expected weather.

I have other obligations this weekend, so I'm out.

I might have some availability the weekends of September 17th an 24th. I'm hoping to get a camping trip up your way for one of those weekends.

Looks like the (Gasp! Shock! Amaze!) hurricane ( we're all gonna die!!) will put a damper on anything anyway. They're calling for 23 MPH winds and 80% chance of rain here. It has been that way for the past several weeks, so I won't be able to tell the difference.

We've now had an earthquake and a hurricane in the same week. Its going to do some people in. Not physically, but emotionally.

I was down to pick up my SW Motech tank bag today, dealer was all sold out of Generators in the first hour after opening. I hope they got plenty of bread and milk. Wal-Mart next door was packed by the panic stricken masses. Really. You would think PA is located 100 feet north of the Outer Banks. I guess all the flail is good for business. I don't care, as long as I can watch the MotoGP this Sunday afternoon at 2.

Ya, it was dry around here until mid-afternoon. I would've like to go for a ride, but wanted to make sure there weren't any loose projectiles in the yard, so it was cleanup day. That's got be a some sort of record though (earthquake and hurricane in a week). What could top that

I actually don't want to know. ???

I prefer my natural disasters to occur during the work week, I get annoyed when my weekends are rainy.

Well, we lived through it. My rain gauge showed 3.5 inches, but that was all I have to report. It rained quite hard and long all Saturday night and half of Sunday. But now the roads are well washed, and I successfully did the TB sync ( really really recommended! Willing to help others on this one, I have a mercury sync tool from my XS650 days, works like a champ) and enjoyed the new power delivery.
I have tomorrow off ( Monday, the 29th) andI plan on some riding.

That said, my neighbor may go M/C shopping this Saturday, and no doubt wants my assistance. I'll go if I can laugh at him the whole time. I expect to do the get-together on Labor day. Looks like great weather for the next ten-twelve days.

It is never going to be as bad as the sensationalists want us to think. Otherwise, we would all have been dead years ago.
