Very nice Jim I wish I was over there riding with ya! We didn't have the good colors this year but my house smells like cornbread and homemade soup :)

Ymmmm! Your new house!?

Come on over and we will ride first and then grill some fresh forest rat tenderloin. I was by "your" log landing a couple of weeks ago. It seems they have moved around the hill a couple hundred yards and started over. Glad it was dry b/c it sure looked like it could be greasy when wet.

Does everyone get their own log landing when they ride with you? Mine was a swamp up there on Briery Knob that day in the rain a few years back.
Only when it rains!

No new house yet. I'm slower than I should be! To my wife's displeasure ::) :D

Looking good Jim. I'm thinking colors here at my elevation are about peak. Not sure there will be anything much left if I get out next weekend.

Closest I've been to riding in the last couple of weeks was some 4 month to 18 month old young ones sitting on the bikes making vroom, vroom noises. If I can't ride I can at least infect the next generation with my disease. I know for a fact it is contagious.

Infect away!

Look forward and think how much you will savor that long awaited ride.

Oh I do, and I will. But I also know I will notice the rust that will need to be knocked off my skill set. I'm always amused by how much I can tell I'm not able to ride at my normal level when I've been off the bike for a few weeks.

BEAUTIFUL man, BEAUTIFUL..... if that's out your back door I am truly envious. Little slice of Heaven. Where might SE almost Heaven be?
Enjoyed the music too.

Thanks ::003::
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it.

Several of the pics are actually from my literal backyard, some are from my figurative backyard including the mountain farm next county over where my Dad was raised and still others from where I roam regularly on a bike. All pics in the Allegheny Mtns in southeast WV.

I sure hope to see that part of the Country someday. Furthest East we been is the Maggie Valley area and we certainly enjoyed that trip. The scenery was stellar and the riding was some of the best I've experienced. I suspect your neighborhood would be much the same.

Maggie Valley is sweet! Give a holler if you head this way and we will have a look about.
