I'm not around here much anymore, but am glad to see my rear wheel removal and replacement pictorial thread is still useful 4 years and almost 30,000 views later....
The companion front wheel thread is up to 17,000 views and the SW-Motec skid plate install pictorial which was stickied is up to 31,000 views and got me some goodies from Twisted Throttle for permission to use it. All three threads still seem to be useful based on the comments they get, which is pretty remarkable. Warms my heart a little bit.
These were all written when we were all new to the bikes and new accessories were hitting the market daily. Apparently now the SW-Motec Skid Plate actually comes with instructions. That was not the case in the beggining.
I got the Super Tenere outfitted and rode it a year before my wife picked up hers. We both rode them a fair amount until this last year when seem to have gravitated back to our old BMW RTs. I put new tires on my Super Tenere a year ago tomorrow, and they have just under 300 miles on them. Time for them to find new homes.
I was active on the forum here for about two years but became less and less active primarily because of what I perceived as an atmosphere of bullying and trolling. I wasn't here to butt heads. Looking in today I see the forum is getting some much needed moderator attention and a little more developed structure. I would need to stay a while and look aroun to see if the atmosphere has improved, but I hope it has.
The Super T is a great bike and it deserves a dedicated following.
