About the only way is to find someone else that knows for sure that theirs has/has not been flashed and compare. Mine is not, and I think it's perfect. Others think the throttle is too twitchy from the factory. A flash, apparently, takes the "twitchiness" out. But puting it in "T" also slows the twitchiness down a bit. Mine stays in "S". Favorite bike ever. Not sure what has been done to my bike before I got it. Is there a way to tell if it has been flashed? Looks like 70mph at 3500 rpm in 6th gear in sport mode...
I just took mine out for a 2nd shakedown, minus the windscreen and shock-sox (my old socks ziptied to the forks to catch leaks) and the thing rips. I though sportmode would add a little but it is properly quick. Its gonna be a fun machine!About the only way is to find someone else that knows for sure that theirs has/has not been flashed and compare. Mine is not, and I think it's perfect. Flashed or not, "S" or "T", horsepower will be the same. It's all about how quickly the throttle responds to your input. If I am in "T", and don't realize it, I will kill the motor trying to take off from a stop sign/light. In "S", it responds every bit as quick as I want it to. I think that's where the confusion might come from. In "S" things happen quickly which some see as increased HP. But yeah, she's a fun bike.. . . . I forgot to add: If you like the way it's running now, don't worry if it's flashed or not. Just keep enjoying it, 'cuz that's all that counts.. . . . Its gonna be a fun machine!
My tuner left the sensors connected but switched them off in the ecu. Otherwise it would be constantly throwing up faults if you simply disconnect them on a 2017 bike. Maybe different on other modelsI think that when they flash an ECU, in most cases, they leave the injection circuit closed, "nullifying" the lambda probes. if this were the case, you should disconnect an oxygen sensor... if an error does not appear, the ecu would be flashed

That seems way too low of RPMs for that speed. (flash wouldn't affect that) So, either the speedo is off or the tach is. Neither of which a precision instrument. Not sure what has been done to my bike before I got it. Is there a way to tell if it has been flashed? Yeah, that's real close to mine. (73 @ 4k)70mph indicated is right at 4k rpms with how these bikes are setup gearing wise.
That is why I said that it would be a way to find out, when you buy a used motorcycle, if the ecu is flashed…..if you disconnect an oxygen sensor and a “check engine” does not appear…..the ecu is flashed….My tuner left the sensors connected but switched them off in the ecu. The mechanical relationship between rpm and real speed (gps), a tuner will not change it. Probably what they are referring to is modifying the relationship between the signal pulses, and what the speedometer shows, to eliminate the error in the speedometer, and that it stops showing more and shows the closest thing to the gpsAs noted above the tune won’t affect RPM at speed as that’s mechanically determined by the fixed gear ratios. Because it’s a mechanical relationship, riding mode (S vs. T) won’t affect this either.

That’s not what I was saying. That is why I said that it would be a way to find out, when you buy a used motorcycle, if the ecu is flashed…..if you disconnect an oxygen sensor and a “check engine” does not appear…..the ecu is flashed….
You are right, surely the +2017, the error appears when you do it….That’s not what I was saying.
If you disconnect the sensors and remove them it will throw up faults even on a flashed ecu. The trick is to leave them connected but switch off their data in the ecu. 2017 model
