Anyone on ere bothering to go on the protest run against the proposed parking charges this coming Sunday? I'm heading up to the Hurt Arms to join in on the ride through the town. Can't have me icecream stop off put in jeopardy... : Might be a bit busy tho if the supposed 5 thousand odd bikers who've said there attending do turn up. Be a cool event to watch or be a part of if they do...

Im meeting the Buxton lot..though weatherman has said snow..so will decide on the day.

Yep....heavy snow tonight with rain/sleet/snow (delete as applicable) showers for most of the day tomorrow, with some more snow looking likely on Saturday too. Not sure about Sunday though but they think it could be a sunny and bright day.

Snowing now and settling as well as being cold, will see what Sunday brings.

Weather looking good if not a wee bit chilly, tho heated jacket negates that minor thing. Could be a spectacle with riders coming from all over. Best charge the helmet cam...

Today is Mothering Sunday + a house full of females + lunch pre-planned (not by me) at my 84 year old Mother in laws home = Not going out on my bike today. :-[

Weather held n awesome turnout in the end. Over 4000 bikes by all accounts, but felt like more. I even got interviewed in front of a camera... 3 TIMES! Must of been my dashing good looks and me great taste in bikes... ;D

I made it through the snow too. Didn't get interviewed though! Was great to get out on the bike again. The more I ride it the better it gets.

It sure was busy, great turnout by allsorts of bikers, it was good to be involved. Saw 3 other S10's including Tenbob who when he wasn't auditioning for Top Gear ::013:: was probably as amazed as me at the turnout.

Nice catch Peak-Park! Wished I'd of faired better with my helmet cam... Filmed all the way from setting off from the Hurt Arms carpark all the way thru Matlock Bath n then into the town, returned back n even stood on the pegs to get better views thru the crowds only to park up n realise I'd left the lens cap on at the start! Gutted... Proper div!
