Glad I decided when I did. Mine arrived today. A little figgety about getting the seat to latch but once there feels very well locked. Now I need the weather to improve so I can try it out!!!!!

Wow, I just put my new Sargent Seat on (it's the updated version with the supposedly softer foam) and was shocked at how hard it was. It's no-where near as cushy as the Sargent Seat I have on my KLR650, and is comparable to the cement block wrapped in leather (otherwise known as my Corbin Seat) on my V-strom. For those of you who have put some miles on the Sargent Seat, will this thing break in and get more comfortable? If not, I might be sending it back.

I have both the Corbin and original Sargent. The Corbin broke in nicely for me in about 800 miles. The Sargent is as hard as a rock and has not budged in the same amount of miles. I thought it would soften up a little bit, but its as hard as the day I put it on. She Sargent on my VFR was COMPLETELY different. That seat was incredible! Ill probably be sending my seat back for the softer foam the first week of December. I hope the new foam eventually breaks in.

Mine is very different from previous Sargent's that I've owned. No complaints though. I'm fine with the firmer foam.
