The Sargent seat I had on my 1100GS was awesome with the foam firmness just right for all day comfort. Sounds like they need to go back to the drawing board for the S10 seat.

Yea I think I'm going to have to send mine back for modification. I have a trip to NC in two weeks and I think im going to throw my Corbin back on for that trip and Colorado next month. I'm Glad I did not sell it.

I would not be happy having to spend more $$$ to mod an already expensive seat. Hopefully they will get enough complaints to spur a design change.

I sent mine back as well. I included comments in the return form expecting to be contacted on how to fix the issue but I never heard back they just gave me the credit. The seat was a quality piece in every other respect and the Sargent I had on my c14 was perfect. If the issue is height they should just note that the seat isn't meant for the vertically challenged rather than selling an inferior product.

Also sent my back. One of the very first production seats that came out. Foam was just too hard. Softer foam is much better while still supportive.

I also have an 09 KLR with a sargent seat, and for me too, it is the best seat of any motorcycle I've owned.

Is anyone letting Seagent know so that they can improve their S10 seats. It seems all are in agreement that the quality is good. It is something about the hardness of the seat that is the problem.

Renazco does not make a seat, but will mod it....I had a reservation in, then cancelled getting a Corbin instead.

I just bought a Sargent selling my Corbin....the seat is wider than the stock seat, so I hope it spreads the weight better. It also appears quite hard, which is not a bad thing as seats that are too soft cause problems. I have not had the chance to ride the bike, planning a 6 hour freeway tour to try out the seat. If that doesn't work, I'll send it back and get a Russell all day.

In ordering the Sargent, I was told the Tenere seat is very difficult to build well. My past 5 Corbins have all been excellent....not so on the ST.
