I paid slightly over $500.00 for Sena 20s EVO dual pack almost 3 years ago, the only thing you gain with dual pack is they are supposed to be already paired so they can talk to each other but mine were not so I had to pair them myself but that’s pretty easy to do if you follow the instructions.

I made the switch from sena smr10r to 10s because the smh10r took a dump after 8 months and then the 10s took dump after 2 months and got warrantied. After all this im done with sena and when to the cardio bold which also has its issues. Im dispointed by bold as well but not as much the senas ive had.

Had 2 20s take a dump on me both were because of water but either way it's a mounted on a helmet it should be able to deal with riding in inclement weather. Switch to the 10r haven't had to much rain riding with it yet so we'll see. Went to cardo between the two but that interface is so incredibly non intuitive that I just went back to sena.

My Sena 20s EVO have mostly worked fine but they have no where near the 1.2 mile range they claim, in fact I think if your lucky you might have more like a .5 mile range. If the battery is fully charged I’ve never had any trouble getting a full day ride with mine , one of my friends doesn’t quite make a full day but he plays music and radio as well as talks on the phone a lot .

I have 4 20s evo’s, for staying in touch with my wife and 2 daughters when we all go out on bikes, they work well, but you get a Lot of noise when you have a group intercom with 4 people and as stated the range is lucky to make 0.5 miles.. I have had our unit’s for 3 years and not had any problems with them, we all Listen to music and often have the gps giving directions and they will last about 7 hours before the battery gives up. I also ride with ear plugs so have the volume on maximum all the time so I can hear the intercom/music, so that must shorten the battery life a bit. Always seem to have problems trying to pair up individual units (having the intercom to speak to 1 specific person rather than group mode), so now I just hold the bottom button for a few seconds to use group mode, wether I am riding with just one other person or all 3 of them.. have never managed to get the units to go into that mode where you can talk with someone standing next to you (Like at a gas pump)! Many of the features do NOT work,as described in the manual, I think Sena has made a lot of software updates, but have NOT updated the manuals to show those changes.. still quite happy with the units Even after 3 years, definite room for improvement, but they work fairly well, as stated the significant increase in background noise when in group intercom mode is the most annoying thing for me.

All 3 sena had weather problems, they just working or sound issues. I would say at best it gets 1 block range. The cardio is hard to use and the voice command works 70% of the time. The sound quality and other features are much better then any sena ive had.

I'm using a Sena Prism Tube wifi camera for capturing my rides on video. Primarily, I use it, if necessary to capture any incidents or accidents while out riding.
It comes with a clamp on mount so you can fix it onto you helmet. Easy to remove as well.
In addition I have a 10,000 ma power pack plugged into the camera, so I can record all day. I'm using the loop function, so when the micro sd card is full, the camera records over the initial footage. When riding, even at high speeds, you would never know it's there. Easy to turn on and off.
It's a camera only and doesn't communicate with other people. Price is right on, and shoots great video.

I and a couple of friends have switched back to Cardo. The new Pack talk Bold I believe is what it is called. No weird background noise when more than two are connected. Better range and voice command control. The speakers are really good if you have a full shield helmet. They are worth the spend. Sena are not waterproof and these have held up to what little rain I've encountered so far.

Hey tootall2,
I did a ride very recently in 8 C (45 F) rainy weather all day long and my Sena Prism Tube wifi camera performed brilliantly.
As mentioned earlier, this camera is only a camera and doesn't have any two way communication ability.
In addition, I have a 10,000 ma power pack plugged into the camera. I waterproofed it by very simply using a small piece of electrical tape folded over sticky sides together.
So, with a little thought and simple ingenuity one can make your Sena waterproof.
