Hi all!

I have owned numerous bikes over my 30+ years of riding - mostly Beemers (which were always good to me.)
Right now, I'm bike-less. I just sold my low-mileage, oil-head GS that was in outstanding condition.
I have one daughter in a private college, another one looking at expensive colleges plus a lot of other family obligations and the bike was just not getting the attention she deserved.
I decided to let someone else enjoy her.
Maybe you can empathize with me.(?)
I am pretty certain, that in the not too distant future, I will be itching for two wheels again.
I already put the funds from the GS sale in a separate bike account in case the itch gets unbearable.
I know it will be an adventure bike and I've always admired the Super Tenere, although I have never ridden one. (Hint - any DelMarVa owners open to an S10 orientation some day?)
Anyway, I joined to get the lowdown on Super Tenere ownership, aiming to acquire a 2014+ down the road.
I'm hoping I can find the answers to my questions here, establish some contacts and possibly meet some new friends.

I think I'm the only S-10 in Delmarva. Been through several BMWs with no complaints. I might consider a Goldwing but the Tenere still runs great after lots of miles. +1 on the RTE, although I always have to work Mondays.

Welcome you'll love the S10. I went from a '14 S10 to a BMW RS and am now back on a '17 S10 just a few dollars poorer! Love my S10 great bike, no hassles, no drama.

::004:: You'll love the Tenere. Test ride one, and I'm sure you'll agree. ::001::
