Figuring they are sold by now, but interested in your experience. Reason for selling? How much taller than stock? Original cost, comfort level and time between order and delivery?

I'm not the OP, but just put in an order for a RDL this week. Solo only, so S-1 price code. I'm not doing leather, but it still kills $500. Order placed this week, build date is April 17th, potentially 2 weeks after that before I get the seat back is what I'm told. Tis the season. In the middle of winter I once got a 10 day turn around on a RDL build.

I was researching these and they look very comfy for the passenger.

I did, and have about 3k miles on it now. From the first ride it was absolutely more comfortable than anything previous. No butt burn at all. And it's getting better as it breaks in, though it's mostly broken in now. I have had one in the past and had similar results. I got one for a GF and she loved it too, especially with a back rest. The Russell is worth the time and money, IMHO.
